Alric has a right to the throne of the Cath Bruig. Undisputed fact.
Madrigal, however, is NOT Muirthemne, and saying that Alric deserved to be king of Madrigal is pointless: A.) Because he already was king of Madrigal, and B.) because by the time he had any "deeds" worth making him a king, Madrigal was destroyed. Alric could not and did not earn the throne of Madrigal (by the story we're given, anyway).
As for choosing not to reply... whatever. I doubt anyone is holding a gun to your head. As you will.
