: Killing Duck

Alright, I will begin with Damas (Soulblighter). He probably wasn't a direct Heron Guard himself and was more likely a member of the Cath Bruig race or from Gower. He does share an eastern appearance with the Heron Guard however. As far as his search for immortality, unlike the Heron Guard he could not be killed directly, since he no longer had his heart within him. So he used his black arts to become the true evil of the Heron Guard. As far as when he became Dark, this I still refute. He would not have been around since the reign of Moagim, but probably was very ancient by human standards due to the healing rituals he performed. So I still feel that there is a lot of speculation around him.

As for The Watcher, he's dead. Maybe he escaped his physical body, but just like Shiver, he needed the power of the Tramist's mirror to become flesh again. So since Soulblighter was in possession of the artifact needed and did not bring him back, he is still floating in the ether for all we know. Just because the level was supposed to say something, does not mean that he is still alive. It would be like how Murgen wa originally supposed to defeat Shiver, and in the final it was Rabican. Keep in mind that all beta information is to be taken lightly, as it holds little credibility in and of itself. So never base a theory on something not used in the storyline.

As for the Faceless Man and the mystery lieutenant, they could very well be one and the same. But alas no further news of him was ever heard so it can be safely assumed that he is either a) still in the lands to the East, OR b) dead and/or defeated in battle. Either way he is not a part of the War in the West and we cannot make any reference to him since no information is available.
