the head is most cratainly majarin as at the end of myth3 twa it says no one knew what happened to his head and is it not reasonable that it was hidden in muirthemne(llancarfen)
for safe keeping only to be dug up by the light?
connacht knows that he will return as balor so maybe he had it buried where he could use its knoledge when he returned or as a deliberate trap for the light???
