just a thought:

The myth archers were made so slow, because if there were any units slower than them they just wouldnt stand a chance.

Think of a thrall vs archer fight...archer shoots, shoots, retreats. Shoots, shoots, retreats.

(im thinking of the fast speed elven archers here, of course)

And even if you have a few units faster than the arcs, if they die then a team has zero defense against the archers.
