Soulblighty's shades, or no.

Umm, I can't tell you for sure, and this kinda depends on if Balor directly ordered him to take Covenant or not, but if he [Balor] did, then it's entirely possible that Soulblighter could have had Shades in his forces, even if they weren't under his direct control.

Essentially what I'm trying to say in my convoluted, roundabout, and totally rambling manner is that Balor might have just ordered some shades to follow Soulblighter's orders, even if he had no way of raising them himself.

Also, again, I think that, if Soulblighter could raise thrall in M2, then he could have probably done it in TFL, and therefore could probably have raised Shades, since raising a shade seems to be essentially the same thing as raising a thrall, only that a thrall is some normal peasant soldier's carcass, while a shade is an almighty, all powerful avatara's corpse.

So that's my thoughts.
