if you want old english names, just pick up a piece of old english literature.

How far back are you looking? Would middle english be sufficient? Do you want pre-roman occupation english names (essentially Celtic names)? Pre Anglo Saxon? Or are you looking for anglo saxon names (more middle-english)?

A timeframe would be most helpful : )
