I think that a Longbowman would in general be a really nice addition to Myth unit balance. Give them a very high minimum range, a slow draw time, and poor accuracy (compared to TFL archers), but give them insane maximum range and make them cost 1 point each. Then you buy hordes of them like Thrall and rain arrows down on enemies from afar, 70% of which miss, but the rest do hard damage to their targets (say one hit kills on Leg, but not quite on lower). It'd take a whole lot of them to be really effective, so it'd cost a decent amount, but once you get inside their large min range they're pretty much dead meat. To counterbalance them you'd need something like an armored cavalry, big and tough and fast enough to run in and break up their lines.
