Fair enough. Your'e right, it is basically the backstory played out, but some (inc. me) take the view that because it was released as part of the Myth seires (and doesn't contradict the previous two or add revolutionary new ideas), it can be taken as canon, more or less dependiong on the individual. Of course, others choose to ignore it. Guess it's just personal opinion at the end of the day - but, as it is the backstory enacted, it can't make a huge difference on most matters which opinion you hold.
