Aye, it's a very common combination, especially in the Northeast US.

Oh I'm a northern one, from high up in the mountains, one of those fair Italians from Umbria (and also the Abruzzi). I can trace part of my heritage back to the Sabines, actually. And heh, we seem to have similar sentiments...
