The four Knigdoms are still used as a sort of division, but there's no real politicalness to it.

They orginally came via a land bridge between Britain and Ireland during the Ice Age. Farmers arrived several thousand years later by boat, probably from France. the Celts spread not by conquering but by spreading naturally, there was no real connection between French Celts and Irish celts besides a few customs and Iron. Ireland avoided two of the major civilisations, Rome and Barbarions, (Saxons, Goths, etc.). The Vikings arrived around 798 but never settled as much as the Celts, onl around the coast, they were pushed out in 1014 by Brian Boru, who had united Ireland (much like Clovis really) 100 years later the Normans invaded.

Thats true, Scot was their king at the time and it was Scots land, incidently Ir was the queen and thus Irs Land.
