In case anyone's wondering why the units aren't immediately compatible, two of the main problems are a) some of the original collections--like the Thrall's--have been altered for the scenario and so unless you substitute the Chimera version for the original in all the levels, the animations don't quite work and b) a lot of the creatures are very heavily scripted. Godzfire, if you didn't read the news page, is undertaking the work of making each unit stand-alone.
