: forces of the west. If Alric and the narrator were the
: only two men left alive after Balor was killed, one
: could *surmise* that Alric would have something to say
: to him. As for whether or not they'd shoot the breeze,

Well, he was allowed to carry the Codex, and in the Tain he speaks directly to Murgen, who avoids his question of whether everytghing ever imprisoned in the Tain would be released when it was shattered.
