So there could ahve been other Avatara, but the Nine were the chief among them, a ruling council for the Province, if you will (which you must ;) ).
There were no other Avatar, what I meant that the Avatar (The Nine) used to control the citadel until its destruction where they moved to the province (what remained of them) refilled their ranks up to nine again and held off Balor as much as they could, losing one every now and then, but because there were lulls in the fightning ocassionaly they were able to refil their ranks again, but because at the end of the war there was no lull they had no time to regroup and thus their numbers depleted rapidly in a few months becasue they were now attacking.
And tell me where are these other avatar outside the nine, there where they during the great war?
