: Dream on. I realize you're young (not that I'm an old
: codger or anything), but you do realize that all
: humans are corrupt (or corruptable)? In an ideal
: situation, there is *no* need for government at all.
: Governments grow out of a need for meeting mutual
: safety concerns. Anarchy, in all truth, is the
: "ideal" governing situation, one in which
: men don't have to compete for food, shelter, and
: clothing. They also have no need to defend themselves
: from other men in order to preserve their
: lives/possessions.
I'm quixotic. Not stupid or naive.
There's a quote that comes to mind that basically says (I forget the exact wording) that when men are good, regulations are unneeded, when men are bad, they don't work.
: Simply put, in the ideal world, there is no government,
: because there is no need to govern.

In the ideal world, we wouldn't exist because the Truth wouldn't be secert.
Or would that actually be bad?
The ideal world wouldn't have people in it.
That's my idea of the day.
But, I really don't want to defend it in a serious arguement.
It's more intended as a joke theory.
