Being superstrong and superfast *is* what Soulblighter applied his magic to. He's as powerful as any other Fallen Lord, but he used his magical power for self-enhancement rather than for spells.

As if! In case you didn't notice, the Deceiver, like the Mahir, can take *anyone* one-on-one, thanks to the fact that his melee attack immobilizes the victim. Heck, he could beat Balor himself if Balor's vast armies didn't come to his rescue.
