: Of course it does, how else would the Jmen, Fallen Lords
: etc. live so long? However, I doubt it causes him to
: remain an adolescent for 50 years or something. I also
: thought he looked old, but I think that that's our
: minds playing tricks on us: the M2 art shows him as
: aged, manual art, cutscene art, and ingame art. Since
: he's hooded in M1 you really can't see his face well,
: and so assume that he's old (he also souns young, at
: first). However, I just had a look at the art for
: Alric in TFL, and his face definately does not look
: wrinkeled or old.

An adolescent is someone between 13-19 no matter how slowly they actually age, unless the term is redefined. And in Myth II, Alric might be aged appearancewise but "The sight of Alric, Balmung flashing in his hand, made many of our own men stand aside in awe...". Obviously the weaknening effects of age haven't effected the man who "...Soulblighter has truely met his match."

Which, I think, not sure if this is the popular opinion means that Alric is stronger then Soulblighter, since if it was an even tie, Soulblighter could have/should have tried to kill Alric one on one, rather then boast of how "I have destroyed the whole world.".
