: something more and that story added nothing. Thus i
: decided that 940 after Myth II nothing happens. Alric
: had gone away years ago but when the comet appeared
: and Tharsis did not erupt he did not return as the
: Leveller, in fact he didn't come back at all. The
: scholars and Avatara and Heron Guards all belived that
: indeed the cycle was broken and teh world could return
: to peace.... But they were wrong. Alric had indeed
: been taken by the Leveller and so as he could raise
: his strength and power for the next final war chose
: not to reveal himself, yet....
: When the world was first created it was a lifeless ball
: of nothingness, as were the other worlds that had been
: created. The dark Gods had just defeated and
: imprisoned their kin and now looked upon htese worlds
: to control. They gave Nyx, chief daughter of the
: leader of the dark Gods the earth to manipulate and
: rule and she created the Trow, however Wyrd, greates
: warrior amongst the Light Gods had escaped capture and
: when he looked apun the scarred earth he changed it,
: creating it so as to counter the powers of the Dark
: Gods, creating a different race to defend each part of
: the world. The Fir'bolg and Forest Giants the Forests,
: the Ghôls the hills, the Dwarves the underearth, the
: Sile'heh the plains and caves, the Skrael, the swamps
: and seas, the Callieach were chief amongst his
: children, leaders of all others, who had magic flowing
: in their veins since birth. And Men, second to the
: Callieach, if they should ever fall then the race of
: men would rule. Wyrd changed all but Tharsis, he could
: not penetrate that as all Nyx's power was focused
: there as she created the Trow. When she called apun
: the dark Gods for aid they Shattered wyrd, his body
: being thrown accros the world. However the Dark Gods
: were too late and Wyrd had already managed to weaken
: the strength of the Dark Gods on this earth. Knowing
: the battle for who ruled the heaven would by fought on
: the world of Myth, before their powers faded
: completely they created a vast army of warriors,
: mages, 50 foot high beasts to challenge the might of
: the races of Wyrd. Once they had done that they slowly
: began to change the races of Wyrd, they could not
: touch the Callieach but turned to the Ghôls who they
: corrupted completely, The Maul, close cousin of the
: Oghres, were corruped also. Men too were corupted and
: they fought amongst themselves. All races felt the
: taint of evil from the Dark Gods, except the
: Callieach. As nyx felt as is she was cast aside she
: swore that she would never assist the gods, thus the
: Trows exemption from the cycle.
Sounds good so far...
: After several thousand years the Legions of the Dark had
: built up their armies to their satisfaction and
: marched into the West, they were held back by the
: callieach, who fought them for 500 years, when the
: could see that they could not win they instead
: imprisoned the evil host behind a vast forest with the
: aid of the Forest Giants. They thought that the world
: would be safe from the Dark. It was the war against
: the Dark that weakened the callieach so much that the
: Trow were able to conquer them, and the hope of the
: world rested on the shoulders of men, but they had
: their own problems, the Dark Gods final act upon this
: world was to take all the suffering and pain caused by
: men and turn it into one dark entity, the Leveller.
Makes sense...seems good...
: It was this vast forest that Alric planned to destroy and
: thus release the Dark Legions from their prison and
: bring about the destruction of the world...

So what hope does the Light have? The One Dream?
