I can positively say, in my own personal case, that even if the Bungie writers came here and systematically answered our questions for a whole week, there would still be something left and we'd mince it for the rest of our days. The past and future of such a world is far too huge to ever be 'settled' and imo there'll always be some fun little details and ambiguities left to debate about, which even the Bungie team didn't fill in.
