Some other problems.
According the in game epilogue the journal writer is going to..."...return to Muirthemne with the Emperor and his Heron Guards..."
That makes the after soulblighter's death part of the story very creative, but totally false:
The Eye of Tharsis, forge of the Cloudspine Mountains, trembled and began to collapse. In desperation, Alric used the last of his magic to hold the volcano together until his men could escape.
"Soulblighter has betrayed us and all seems lost," Alric yelled at his retreating men, "But hope yet remains across the sea . . . flee to other lands and reclaim what you have lost."
How has Soulblighter betrayed them anyway? Soulblighter was trying to do what happens according to this, making no pretentions to the contrary.
Alric held the cataclysm at bay as long as he could, but finally his strength gave out and the Eye of Tharsis shattered.
The Legion, which had surrounded the volcano and was valiantly striving with the last of Soulblighter's Army, watched in horror as the Mountains collapsed and earthquakes shattered the land. The Armies of both Good and Evil scattered. Many people died in the those first hours of desruction as the land collapsed in upon itself.
etc...etc...
Very creative but false would my description of the after soulblighter stuff they have written.
