Not quite. Mazzarin's spell gave Connaught the knowledge that the Smiths of Muirthemne would be able to make the Tain- but only if they had access to the Ungoren (sp?) Tomen, the Dwarven Book of Building, one of the most treasured atrifacts in Myrgard.
