In Response To: Re: An old probably dead thread. *PIC* (zeph)

: I thought of that, but the one fact of the matter is The
: Watcher allied himself balor, who had imprisoned him
: in a rock for a thousand years, which when you think
: of it is worse than being dead. Lets be honest the
: Watcher isn;t big in revenge, if someone offers him
: the chance to create the scarred world of undead he
: dreams of he's pretty much sold.

Technically, the Watcher was suborned by Balor. Like the other five Fallen, he was forced to be a slave.

: Did I fail to mention that Alric was corrupted, and is
: thus no longer allied to the Fir'bolg, and has his big
: fortress in the east, where all the evil things are,
: and that in the end he's possesed by the Leveller, and
: that he is EVIL.

Yes, but consider the following. The Trow became allies with the Balor Leveler, because they recognized his connection with Connacht. Now, why wouldn't this Alric Leveler want to try the same thing with the bolgs? The dark never turn down offers from living people. Mentioned in the Mayor's flavor text.

: As I said the evil bastard is no longer allied with the
: Fir'bolg, in fact during my entire post I never once
: mentioned the Fir'bolg. So to set the record straight
: he is not allied with, the dwarves, the Fir'bolg, the
: Cath Bruig, the Province, The Beserk, or the
: Squirrels, well maybe some of the Squirrels.

I just brought them up because Alric would rather have an army of archers instead of a couple of weak cult-maniacs who can throw jawbones but that's about it.

: Soulblighter was not ressurected, his spirit was trapped
: unwillingly be Alric and SB hasen't much of a choice,
: being dead and non Corporeal and all.

I see what you mean. But binding dead ghosts, especially the ghost of Soulblighter, probably involves inputting more work than extracting anything else useful in return. I mean, what can SB offer Alric? Swordsmanship lessons? But Alric owned him in the swordfight. The only thing I can see is maybe that Cloudspine-shattering dream he had, but otherwise I don't see as of yet why Alric would go through that trouble.

: I think I made it clear that Alric was fighting the Cath
: bruig not the Leveller or did I fail to get that
: message across. So to put it simply for you:ALric
: baaad, kieren GOOOOD.

I was assuming he had used his connections to gain some of the Light. Exactly like Balor did with the Myrms and the Trow.
