:My Nordstedt's English-Swedish dictionary says the primary :meaning is "figment of ones imagination".
: 2 : an illusion or fabrication of the mind; especially :
: an unrealizable dream
I take this as showing that Forrest and I are right--as always. :) Your life can't be a "figment of your imagination" or a "fabrication of your mind." You may have *spent* your life among illusions and hallucinations, but your life itself can't be one. That would mean that *nothing* you saw--including yourself--was real. Furthermore, the various illusions Kyrilla employed against her enemies were not "chimeras" because they were externally generated. A chimera is an illusion your own mind creates--something you think up that doesn't exist. The illusions of the Baron and Fenris, for instance, would only have been "chimeras" if the Baron and Fenris had spontaneously hallucinated them. It was clear what they intended "chimera" to mean in the game--"illusion" and "something involving or characterized by illusions"--but it was still a bad use of the word.
