: I may have many things wrong, but isn't the age of Myth I

: Please correct me if I'm wrong.
It is. Consider the events of myth TFL. Connacht reappears as Balor. Lays complete waste to everything east of the cloudspine. Which is, as far as we know, half the world. Makes his way westward, slowly but surely until he reaches madrigal, the last free city of the light. There, shiver is pushed back and the fight against the dark really begins. Think how much was destroyed, how many undead there were, how many people died. It was a dark age. And they finally "break the cycle", killing balor, and a few decades later SB shows up and does the same thing all over again, except in a much shorter time period. Seems pretty dark to me.
