The story after Myth II goes like this:
Alric departed into the East, having taken balmung and THAT armour in the very very far east he finds the lands which Kieren had found before, though the magic he had taught were used for death and murder, a cruel despot now rules from a massive fortress, Alric defeats him, but it is the last honorable thing he does, for since he left Muirthemne the Leveller has been slowly corrupting him, Alric was too strong to be just taken, and the Leveller slowly corrupts him.
Meanwhile in the West the Barrier was magically reverted back to the Downs and the nation prospers as it did in the Wolf and Reason ages, the avatara have long ago been rebuilt and Kieren is now Emperor. However in this apparently light age, the Myrkridia still breed, the Warlocks exist in a dark part of the land which is ruled by dozens of Necromnacer sects and Shades. THe Ghôls hide in the mountains around the great Devoid and the Fetch still walk the lands. The prosperous nation (of sorts, though it is part of the Cath Bruig Empire which spans all human western lands) of Gower is corrupted by Shades, who preach the word of the dark Gods, Gower seperate from the Cath bruig and begin training their soldiers as Myrmidions in preperation for the coming of the Leveller. In response a massive wall is erected around Cath Bruig and Dwarven territory.
I won't go too deep into what happens during the war but here are the basics:
Alric allies with the stone warrior of the East and also has learned The Decievers binding spell and has converted thousands of light troops, he has ressurected the Watcher, and even worse Rabican (Rabican in his know evil form is a seriously scary guy, If you thought SB was a sadist this guy is worse, he is top knotch evil, to picture him any of you have played Dungeon Keeper think of the Horned Reaper, but human, those who haven't think BIG scythe and Scary helmet). He also has made b'yaggo comporeal. Fearing his powers may not be enough Alric calls upon the spirits of dead arch-mages who's souls he cannot ressurect, Soulblighter is among them, he uses their spirits to expedentially increase his power.
The war goes a bit like this:
The army holds alrics massive force for a short time at the Dire Marsh, months of Solid fighting end in the retreat of all forces back to the Coludspine, Only Muirthemne is held in the East, fortunatley World Knots have been constructed throughout the world and Muirthemne survives.
Kieren returns to the east to make allies of the Human settlers (the good ones). While gone the Watcher breaks through the defense killing both Kierens wife and his avatar son, who was sliced in two and turned into Shade. The Watcher is repelled from Tandem and is crushed by Kierens returning force, his soul is finally destroyed, preventing him from ever living again.
As part of the agreement for the recieving of troops a force has to return to the east to kill the creator of the stone warriors, killing him will result in the death of all the stone warriors. He dies just as a massive force of them was poised on destroying Muirthemne
When the tain is reconstructed and way to defeat Alric concieved most of the Army depart for his fortress via Worldknot, leaving the Western world open to attack. The battle is long and bloody, but Kieren gets to the top of the Fortress and destroys the artefact that allowed Alric to increase his power, however in his rage Alric lets the Leveller take him and this more than compensates for his loss in power. Meanwhile a massive battle takes place outside Tandem, where Rabican is fighting the Leader of the avatar. alrc is finally defeated and his armies collapse, as is Rabicans, the dark warrior is also slain. Their bodies are burned and peace returns to the world.
That war is a typical cycle war, nothing particulary special, the extremely abridged version above doesn't do justice to the long 6 year war. It is the next cycle however that is more intersting, the age of "the Reckoning".
I'll post that tommorow, If I get time
