Firstly I'd like to point out that this is not my view exactly of the Myth history, this is like transferring Myth form Game form to written form, and like any other change of media things must be lost and/or added.
Basically the story begins in Gower 1500 years before Tireces, this is the Gower monarchy is 500 years old and has formed from the clans that were left behind by the Leveller. Kieren and Mazzarin learn about the History of the world from the Forest Giants, who teach them very basic spells and tell them of the Deep they go there and discover dreams etc and return to Gower. (I'm toying with the idea that bahl'al was also amongst this group and as was the coporela b'yaggo. They both started using dark magics and were confronted, Bahl'al escaped but b'yaggo was diembodied and the spirit escaped to the Ermine)
While Mazz teaches magic to others, in this Lightish age Kieren explores the world, he takes settlers to the far West and they setle there. Forming seveleral kingdoms, Namingly Madrigal, Covenant, The Northen Cities and Scales. 1000 before Tireces the Leveller strikes again, but Kieren and Mazz fight back and the Leveller passes over Gower, not wanting to risk defeat, though the rest of civilisation is destroyed.
When the Leveller retreats Kieren returns to the West and finds that some of the settlers escaped, some to the Chalk Cliffs, others to the Ermine. he brings them back to the cities and several hundred years later they emalgate forming the Province, during that time they colonised east and the people of Gower colonised West, the human world was divided between the lands owned by Gower settlers who were Northmen like and Province settlers who were Province like. In the centre, around where Muirthemne now stands was Tiruth de Dannan, the only state where the gowerans and the Provincers had formed a peaceful society together, creating a new race, the Bruig.
When the Leveller returned he once more passed over Gower, he was stopped only at tiruth de Dannan, where the young sorcerer Tireces defeated him, and that very battlefield the city of Llancarfan was founded, and Tireces reigned until he died and was buried in Forest Heart. He was succeeded by Clovis, who by military and Political manouevers unified the Eastern lands, except Gower which remained independant, and at Kierens request he did not attack the Province, except once. His armies were obliterated by the powerful Province armies and a truce was quickly signed, however the two races remained bitter towards each other.
History form here you know, just that the PRovince did not join the Cath Bruig until Connacht's reign.
