Personally I have more faith in the word of god (who I do not believe exists) then then word of MJ.
Seriously, the story would be fine for any normal game.
But it does not have the special "something" that makes me LOVE Myth TFL and strongly like Myth II. It just doesn't seem as desperate.
Which is disgustingly ironic given that this was the darkest hour of the darkest Dark Age.
Anyone who wants to argue why the story is good, or even okay please ignore my disagreement. I'll put my doubt aside for the moment.
