: I would too, it looked so promising.

: But alas CoM has past on, and both their web page and HL
: server are gone last time I checked. Unless they moved
: one or both to a new location. If so, would someone
: let us know?

Well, part 3 is being posted out of boredom among other things.

I picked the date for no apparent reason or logic, so feel free to think I lost my mind for good.

(BEGIN STORY)

Monday April 7, The Dwarven lands

Sinac has been defeated. Gwyon of the Countless Slain, a hero among the Berserks is said to have delivered the killing blow. He has brought me a strange object, a not quite round stone about the size of a Rune Stone, apparently the source of Sinac’s power. After a few minutes of inspection I gasped in surprise.

It is one of the legendary Stones of Wyrd, the full power of which is known only to the highest of the Avatara. Unlike a Rune Stone, these artifacts will give far greater power then the simple mastery of a single Dream. It is believed that the Ibis Crown, Royal Crown of the Cath Bruig which was lost after the fall of Llancarfan, contained a Stone of Wyrd.

I believe that with the aid of its power, we may be able to help the Dwarves, besieged in their ancient strongholds of Myrgard and Stoneheim. I lead a company of two hundred picked men to the lands of the Dwarves now, marching at double time despite the heat and dust.

Even so, I fear we may be too late, as no news of the Dwarves has reached us for months,
We are but a few hours from Myrgard
We resume marching within the hour
