: The Mahir imo can be one of either three things.
: 1. Demons or imps which were summoned from some other
: realm, much like the Fetch were.
: 2. Shadows that were created just like the Host of the
: Unforgiven Dead shadows in TBC.
: 3. This last one is a bit more interesting. Assuming that
: the Myrmidons didn't die out after Balor was
: destroyed, they would have kept aging. Once the bodies
: were totally wasted away, all that was left were their
: shadows.
Or ghosts made partially corporeal by Soulblighter, hence the names.
