: I dont think they were only trying to undermine each
: other. Soulblighter was too smart for that, he
: reserved his prejudices when he agreed to work with
: the others under Balors command. I just think he was
: looking out for the future-if you were soulblighter,
: and someone you didnt like was about to acquire the
: Codex, wouldn't you do something about it?
The Fallen Lords seem to have their own plans as to where to go next what to do who to kill etc. They seem to mind their own business unless one of the other would be coming close to them or was planing something about the other Fallen Lord or looking for someone or something powerful (like the Total Codex), etc. I doubt Soulblighter worked with The Watcher, but we know Soulblighter is a smart fellow. He could be sneeking around to see if The Watcher got the Codex or if the Legion. Somehow he waits for the Legion to get to the Great Devoid. Hmmm... how could he know where you were headed with little time.... you first are headed North to Balor ... SB attacks but later flees ... you go and decapitate Balor and you are quickly teleported to the Great Devoid... that is too little time for Soulblighter to know of to head to the Great Devoid before you do. He was the last line of defence at the end... The Watcher was destroyed .... Shiver was disconnected from her body... The Deciever was defeated and nearly killed at The Stair of Grief... we don't know the whereabouts of the other 2 Fallen Lords... Soulblighter was the last straw. I wonder how he knew you were headed to the Great Devoid and that Balor was decapitated before you got to Balor in the first place. Soulblighter is a very mysterious character. Always planning ahead ... recruiting allies... help those who would help him (like Balor). He was free from Balor but he still tried to help his leader. Wouldn't you do the same... help your greatest ally for your own sake? Soulblighter wasn't the type of person that would help from the good of his heart (lol... he doesn't have a heart).
: And if the spiders are eating in the topworld, why is it
: that we NEVER see or hear of them? It seems that if
: they were feeding, they would stick close to the
: armies, where there would be a lot of dead bodies to
: devour.
There is enough evidence that those Spiders, the Myrkridia and you were trapped INSIDE the Tain. That Tain didn't teleport you to caves underneath the ground. The Smiths of Muirthemne built the Tain... I doubt it they would go build caves way underground. That place wasn't built by itself. The Tain takes you INSIDE the Tain. When it was shattered the Legion escaped it, because they were inside it. The spiders... well I doubt they would survive with eating its own kind... it would kill its race as the time passes... more of their kind dying rather then being born... that would kill its race. We don't know everything about the Tain and the things and beings inside it.
