: Well, there -is- an example of 'true' ressurection. From
: the 'Man not Yet Born.' Skulls to living, breathing,
: dying Myrkydria definately seems like ressurection.
: Although since the Giant Myrks turn into black piles
: of goo, as opposed to the corpses left behind when
: they were killed during the Wolf Age...

Very good point, but I'll quote from SiliconDream on that one.

"I always viewed his [Summoner's] magics as basically space/time-related. He's got some sort of link to the Tain, which is the Mother Of All Space/Time-Twisting Artifacts, and he defends himself via teleportation."

First, remember that Connacht used the Tain on the Myrks. They were trapped in the caves, and eventually became extinct, imo because there is nothing to eat there but each other. Eventually they all died. The Summoner comes along and picks up their skulls and brings them back. That's an excellent arguement for resurrection, but like Sili says, the Tain can warp time. So the Summoner, somehow, takes the Myrks, one by one, before they died inside the Tain. In essence, the ones that the Summoner brought back never died.

Also, I defined resurrection as "bringing a human who has died back to life". Since Myrks are neither human nor barely sentient and intelligent, I would think it is safe they don't have to worry about an afterlife anyway :)

Again I must say you have a great side; I love challenging debates.
