: Personally one of my favorite things about TBC is the
: fact that you can rattle off all the ways the Limper
: has been denigrated or killed:
: * Buried alive
: * Arrowed in the head and body
: * Eaten by a giant magic dragonfly
: * Stabbed repeatedly
: * Chopped up
: * Burned
: * Broken
: * Boiled
Hehe yeah.. that's the most complete list I've ever seen. And the guy deserved every bit of it, too.
: I'm sure I'm leaving a few out... :)
The only one I could think of was:
* Eaten alive by Lady's magical fire-serpents (after Whisper's Taken-ing)
Most of the time it was Croaker's work, too. The ambush at the end of Shadow's Linger was brutal; a gang of guys hacked at him until they were exhausted. That's got to be a lot of hacking!

PS- Btw, did you think the ending of Silver Spike was the least satisfying out of the endings of all the books? I thought it was.. the fates of many of the main characters were too harsh imo. Also, I don't think it was a good idea to bury the Limper right next to the silver spike. Even despite the fact that he would probably be only a strand or two of boiled meat.
Err, one last complaint :) The whole twist about the Tree-god sending Darling and the creature-army immediately away from the Limper before he was finished to head North, but sparing time for Raven to meet his kids along the way? Nonsense. Although well written otherwise, TSS was imo the least satisfying of the series so far.
