: "Unlike the unarmed Berserks..."
: "...[Berseks] wield giant claymores..."
: Whoops!
: "Berserks (Baer Serce)"
: Baer Serce? Hmm...
Baer Serce could be the word "Berserk" in translation to another language. Remember that this Eidos Page could be from Europe.
: "Avatara (Warlocks)"
: And for his next trick, Alric will hurl a fireball at the
: enemy and cast confusion...
: "Journeymen (Herons) - Fighters of the Eastern
: desert, Ferocious but few."
: Many words come to mind when thinking of Journeymen, but
: ferocious probably isn't one of them.
: "Ghols - Sworn enemies of the dwarves, the Ghols
: carry giant cleavers into battle and lope and gibber
: around the battlefield collecting the heads and hands
: of their enemies."
: Hands!?
Why not hands? It could be any limb they want.
: "Soulless (Hollow men) - Once human minions of the
: dark. Carry bundles of barbed spears anointed with
: venom."
: The flavor texts seem to agree with this.
: "...souls stolen by sorcery, these once-human
: minions of The Dark exist only to torture and spill
: the blood of the living... leaving pestilence and
: corruption in their wake."
: But wait! If they're already minions of the dark, why do
: their souls need to be stolen? Wouldn't they be
: willing to give them up?
NO. NO. You couldn't be more wrong. It says "once human minions of The Dark" ... break that little by little... first "once human..." then "...minions of The Dark". Meaning these (Soulless) minions of The Dark were once human, not once humans who served the Dark.
: "Trow - Giant ancestors of the common troll , the
: Trow are incredibly strong and turn to stone at the
: moment of death, a state from which they will
: eventually recover. "
: Troll regeneration? ;)
Yeah, I know it takes 2 heals to heal a stoned Trow or Forest Giant or any other unit who is stoned. This is a reply from another message in this thread.
