I do like that theory about the Tramist Mirror, its interesting. It would be funny if Bungie made it as an error about The Watcher having 2 left arms and we are debating about his death being real or not. I do believe The Watcher is truely dead. We am not informed if The Watcher didn't have 2 left arms before being imprison. He could have been born like that or it could be a cause from a spell that might have backfired. It could have been an easter egg or mistake. Mad Goat of the Fens is dead. Another idea is about him being trapped in the Cloudspine. It is said that Balor freed him, but his arm was left behind. What if he had 1 left and 1 right arm when he first got imprisoned, but some how something made him have a left arm rather then a right one. He could have been completely surrounded by rock around his body, and when he was released his right arm now left arm was stuck because it didn't fit right. It didn't fit right because the prison could have been the shape of him and well try putting a right glove on your left hand with your fingers the opposite side of the fingers of the glove. But I doubt this theory. But I do think The Watcher is dead. The theory above is based on the mystery on why that arm was stuck and not both or a leg. I am not fully behind this theory, but I see some of you coming up if theories based on a few things. Others concluding that The Watcher (aka: Bahl'al) isstill alive or that he was not killed.
