He is roughly based on my character.
But only in that both are basically based on me.
I changed his name though, to Diarmuid, which is from the prerelease info for Avatara names. (Beta 3, if I remember correctly)
He's basically a normal Avatara powerwise.
Probably fairly strong, but not ungodly so. Since this all takes place 50 years before TFL, he is supposedly little known. I'd say how he dies, but that would be jumping ahead of things.
