(BEGIN STORY)
Date unknown, near Sinac’s camp.
Apparently Balor had already began searching for the mystic tomes and artifacts of the Avatara, but his efforts will be for naught.
After fighting off an advance force of Balor’s army we were forced to flee, but not before we were able to find Wyrd’s Palimpsest. I had just enough barely had time to grab it, before we had to destroy the other tomes, to prevent their capture by the Fallen Lords.
Sorrow however, was brief. We could not afford to let any of the knowledge of the Avatara fall in to the hands of the Dark.

Llancarfan may have fallen, but a few soldiers remain. A detachment of two hundred bowmen and soldiers was sent to Seven Gates, just as Eight Pride and the Heron Guards were sent to Bagrada to hold back the Fallen from the Province.
Unlike the majority of the Heron Guards, they seek vengeance, not pious atonement.
“The deaths of that which we could not defend, must be avenged with death. Those who slew the people of the Cath Bruig, and the Emperor shall pay for their crimes.” Aethelwulf said to me when I asked him why.
We have discovered that the Shade Sinac has found a great source of power, which if he is not stopped soon, will make him more powerful then any Avatara since Myrdred, the greatest Avatara since Mazzarin.
We can not allow this. A small elite group of men, lead by Aethelwulf will track down Sinac, and destroy him.
