Interesting theory, but with one GAPING hole. Myth II. If the Watcher was alive, it would be a given that Soulblighter would have had him on his side. Soulblighter would have pulled out all the stops in order to force the cycle, and that would have meant bringing the Watcher back from wherever he was (be it a dream death, like Shiver, or actual death if possible). But, alas for SB, the Watcher blew up. Doh!
