(All of this is merely my opinion, feel free if not encouraged to post your thoughts).
Lawful Good: Like the Knights of the Round Table, honorable and trustworthy.
Neutral Good: Some who, although good and probably honest, does not fit into the catagory of Lawful Good, but is not
Chaotic enough to be Chaotic Good. Basically a person who does Good because it is Good.
Chaotic Good: William Wallace, AKA Braveheart.
Any revolutionaries.
Lawful Neutral*: A perfect soldier, able but not willing to think on his/her own when given commands. See also Republican (nondishonest)
True Neutral: Someone who isn't any of the other alignments.
Chaotic Neutral: Someone who is very chaotic, but not strongly Good or Evil.
Lawful Evil: A tyrant. To be straight to the point, Adolph Hitler.
Neutral Evil: A greedy selfcentered SOB. Probably like the Deciever, but it is hard to say. See Corrupt Politician.
Chaotic Evil: Pyschopath. One of the top Nazis fit into this alignment. Among other things (besides being a Nazi to begin with) that will make his soul burn longer then the stars was this:
1 He saw a dog quarelling with his mistress's dog
2 He doused the dog with gasoline.
3 Lit the poor mutt on fire.
4 Laughed as the dog raced down the street in pain.

I'm Chaotic Good.
Socialist.
Revolutionary.
Enviromentalist.
Excentric Scholar.
*I HATE Order obssesion so in my opinion Lawful Neutral is only slightly better then Lawful Evil. However the D&D manuel is more or less neutral to it.
