Realistically, they could be Lawful Neutral. Whilst the empire does fight an evil army, they do nothing to specify themselves as openly 'good'. I suppose good fits them, but are they are they at anytime specified as 'good'? Alric fits more into a Chaotic Good character, simply because he seems like a rebel in comparison to the other Avatara.

Berserks and Dwarves could also be chaotic good or chaotic neutral. I guess it's all a matter of how you interpret the individual alignments. I've been playing AD&D/D&D for seven years, so I've developed my own stereotypes.
