: 1:Star Trek, does any of the episodes (series') made
: after Gene Rodenberry's death make those episodes any
: less Star Trek.
But Star Trek was passed down to someone who had been working on it during Roddenberry's reign, and also followed the infamous "Star Trek Bible." Plus the fact that Majel Barrett-Roddenberry could basically veto just about anything. But I see your point here.
: 2.Star Wars the Empire strikes back was not totally
: written by Lucas, it mainly written by someone else.
I did not know this. However, I'm sure that Lucas probably set down some guidelines, had editing power, and might have looked over the authors shoulder from time to time.
: On Myth IV which would you prefer, a group of fans doing
: another version ala Mumbo Jumbo style, or a Microsoft
: controlled Bungie, where the game is released on the
: X-Box. on PC a year later and Mac 2 Years Later?
I would prefer fans doing it, but not exactly Mumbo Jumbo style. How many fans really had input? And fans would, in my opinion, have tried to release a far superior product (yes, I know that's not MJ's fault, exactly, but you know what I mean).
