: for the most part (In my opinion, all)
: Well, the Light does have a policy of killing
: necromancers with extreme prejudice, because they're
: so potentialy destructive, but there would be nothing
: to stop a necromancer from being an independent
: operator, summoning the dead for his own gain, but not
: actively seeking the destruction of civilisation or
: aligned with the Fallen Lords.
I know that in Myth all Necromancers serve the Dark (either directly or indirectly*)
But I meant in ALL fantasy
Necromancer=evil (to this angel)
The idea of placing (which Dungeons and Dragons does) healing spells and such as "necromancy" is pretty darn close to blasphemy in my opinion.
Now I suppose that one could argue that life and death are two sides of the same coin (I hate arguements about balance ruling the universe because the asumption seems to be it is SO delicate that if mess with it at all you screw it up)
Good=Good
Evil=Evil
What falls into those catagories is a bit more comlicated though.
*directly, as a Fallen Lord or a Shade or a pawn
*indirectly, as a greedy selfish little *******.
