I would agree with SiliconDream on this one. Sure it wasn't the prettiest thing but at least we got some background information to areas otherwise missed.
One such example is the Tain piece. If you know the Tain was constructed by the Smiths of Muirthemne, who also shared a close relationship to the Spider-cult. So now at least the relationship between them is a bit more apparent.
As for Antero's Bestiary, it provided the most information. We learned that before Connacht the mantle of the Leveller was worn by the Trow. That they used iron weapons in combat and at least we have a picture of what the Oghres (lesser races) looked like. We also learn how Connacht defeated the Trow and how they reappeared to help him during the Great War. I still am not sure who the hooded figure on page 11 is though. It is most likely one of the Fallen Lords or whoever the Head was, since he claimed to be one of Connacht's lieutenants.
Another unusual reference is found in the Ground Zero work. For some reason it refers to Moagim on page 7. What exactly this means I'm not sure, but we must carefully examine the relationship between both Rabican and Shiver to Moagim (Tireces) to uncover more.
But as far as the comic itself goes, it provides extra information that we would otherwise be without. So I am glad bungie decided to create such a work and can only hope that they create a few more of them, even if they are similar to this one.
Sincerely,
Pimpy™
