: Myth TFL, Myth 2, Chimera, Myth 3, and maybe a movie
: of an earlier Myth time or in the future. Maybe a
: movie of how and when the entity of the Leveller was
: born. A movie in the point of view of the Dark in
: another age. Maybe about the Trow's begining to
: present, including talked about Nxy and Wyrd. The
: Watcher finding the runestone of Unlife or whatever.
: Count me in people. :)
Way, way too many movies. One or two might be good, but, unless this is gonna be like another Star Wars (you know, starting out with an Episode 4 - or something), that many movies released in rapid succession would not only bore people, the later movies would suck. For some reason or another, if there are too many sequals to a movie, people stop taking the entire series seriously. But I like the idea of more of a picture of what happened in the far past - I'm not talking about Connacht and Moagim Reborn, but rather maybe making a movie about that one Hero who is killed by Moagim one thousand years before that. It would also be a bit more dramatic, having the bad guy basically completely win - even though he ends up dying anyway. Sorta like a tragic hero in reverse, a tragic leveller. Seeing Tireces's corruption would be cool, too. Alric's life story would make a cool movie, and then so would Tireces's/Moagim's. So perhaps instead of the order suggested by Mr. Pyro, I'd definitely see movies more like this, provided that the different "sections" aren't released so close to each other (released in this order, but chronological according to parts, sorta like Star Wars):
Section 1
- Myth Part 4: Shortly before TFL, mb half a year b4 they get the head, up until Balor's death.
- Myth Part 5: All of M2.
(What happened during Connacht's time as Hero has to be totally explained from the point of the Light sometime during this section)
Section 2
- Myth Part 1: The time when Tireces rises and defeats the first leveller to start the Age of Reason.
- Myth Part 2: Tirece's gradual corruption at the hands of the leveller and the emergence of Moagim, ending with Moagim's "supposed" death and the start of the Wind Age. (whatever happens, don't let people know that Moagim's coming back.)
- Myth Part 3: Moagim returns, and is finally defeated by Connacht.
:::OR:::
Section 1

Section 2
- Myth Part 3: Connacht's story up until Moagim Reborn is defeated. (Whether or not Myth 3 is or is not the way that the original producers of Myth imagined that Connacht's story would be like, Moagim Reborn should be the leveller. It's more dramatic to have the fallen great hero become as totally evil as Moagim is.)
Section 3
- Myth Part 1: The time when Tireces rises and defeats the first leveller to start the Age of Reason.
- Myth Part 2: Tirece's gradual corruption at the hands of the leveller and the emergence of Moagim, ending with Moagim's "supposed" death and the start of the Wind Age.
Yes there are definite differences in how the audience would perceive the story in arranging it in these two ways. Notice that I didn't include Chimera. This isn't because I don't like it (I like it quite a bit), or because I don't think it's canonical enough (cuz I do), it's just that it's too short of a plot line to really work with for a major movie, and that when all the other movies are going to have an earthshaking protagonist and antagonist, Chimera would seem so... small and insignificant. It's cool as a game, it just wouldn't work as a movie (unless it's stand-alone, and I don't think ANY of us would want to leave out the other parts of the Myth story.
Cool.
Doom =)
