Well they believe that they have destroyed entity of The Leveler for good. Meaning that no more Levelers ever again. They believe the "cycle" has been broken, but they are not sure. At the end of Myth 2 they say that they can't be sure at least for another 940 years. Why 940 years? Well because The Leveler appears every 1000 years after the previous Leveler has been destroyed. In Myth 2, Soulblighter and Shiver come back 60 years after Balor (The Leveler) was destroyed. So 940 + 60 = 1000 years. The cycle is 1000 years of a light age then 1000 years of a dark age brought by the hero of the previous light age who is now The Leveler, then another light age then a dark age, etc. They believe they have broken the cycle because the age Balor came as The Leveler was suppose to end up as a dark age, but Balor was destroyed and that age didn't end up as a dark age. So it was something like this.... light, dark, light, dark, light, light... and the future is unknown.
