Alric used the Eblis stone to freeze balor, but he had to have the 'zerks chop him up.
He had to devote his attention to making the stone freeze Balor.
So using it as an attack (the way Alric did) would not be that good an ability.
Ah well, on the subject of powerful units check out mine.
Balmung like attack using mana, disposal dreams using mana and regular alric attack when out of mana.
