What kills me is that with money, I could have had this thing rolling long ago...
I went to school for Film Production (however, I only did 2 1/2 years before I had to take a hiatus from school {going on 3 years now}). I also took various weekend classes out in Hollywood for Film Production, Direction, Budget, and Digital Filmmaking. I've been writing scripts for 10 + years, and have been acting since I was five (I'm 26). I've also been heavily involved in Technical Theatre for 12 years. But enough about tooting my own horn....
I have been trying to do a film (sci-fi) for years, but could never find the money to do so. I have put together a director (myself), a brilliant cinematographer (my best bud from film school, who actually finished), a CGI crew (of about 8 guys who went to school for that particular field), costume people, make-up, lighting and sound, set builders, electricans, and even actors (ALL of which have agreed to work for free just so they could get a film credit). Just no moola. I'm still trying to find a means of cash to fund this baby.
::Ahem:: If someone could be found with millions, I would be more than happy to divert this project into Myth, provided that the rights could be aquired. ::Ahem::
If I ever DO make a film (which I know WILL happen, just don't know when), all money recieved would go towards making the next and so on. Hopefully one day, I would have the cash to do Myth.... but we'll see......
