: OMG TEH MYHT MOVEI !!
: Recently I've been thinking up scenes for a Myth movie in
: my head while struggling for sleep. However these
: thoughts don't last very long: they're soon supplanted
: by thoughts of a possible Black Company movie.
: From a Hollywood perspective, TBC makes a better movie
: possibility as I would understand it. Take for example
: the battle at Charm. It would be the largest war scene
: I could think of. Plus it's got magic, monsters, and
: tons of seige weapons besides the footsoldiers and
: archers.
: Also, there's many other one-on-one encounters that would
: make for excellent mini-battles in a movie.
: Bonegnasher's struggle with the forvalaka... the Taken
: vs. Harden... the brutal clash between Tracker and the
: Dominator where they tore at each other like wet
: tissue paper....
: Myth has some of those, sure, but they're stretched over
: ridiculous periods of time. Rabican vs. Shiver, the
: Watcher vs. Myrdred, Mazz vs. the Watcher, SB vs.
: Alric... those battles and others like them take place
: much too far apart to make a coherent movie series.
: And from a storyline perspective, TBC is simple enough
: for the casually interested moviegoer but intricate
: enough for those people like us, who can break things
: down much further. Myth's story is much more seeped in
: shadows, which is great for us, but the non-fans would
: lose interest quickly in a story that makes no sense
: to them. Think about this: ever try to explain the
: story of Myth to a stranger to the game? Don't know
: where to start, right?
True.
: Those are just some of my thoughts. If I win the lotto,
: I'll ask you guys for your home addresses, send you
: plane tickets to my personal airport, and stay with
: you all 'till we write ourselves a script to hand over
: to my new agent.
: OMG TEH BLAKC CO. MOVEI !
: Then, after that, we'll work on our Myth script :)

Well if all this happens it should be fun...
BTW, how much do you suppose the Myth IV and onward rights would sell for... it would be cool to see an ayslum made Myth IV
