Personally I have to disagree a bit about that. For example:

Firstly, the above quote irks me because it implies that we can't possibly prove him wrong because he, inherently, is right. That's his use of argumentum ad assertion allopecia, which I happen to find a bit insulting. But that's just m.o.

: who happens to be balor,[...]
This next quote can be classified as Argument from Authority, which is one of those 'if This-Guy says it, My-Idea MUST be true'. The idea is moot because the authority of Myth III is in question. Remember, there's a good number of us Asylumers who choose to either ignore TWA, or pretend it never happened.

The latter quote wraps it up: an ad hominem argument. We couldn't possibly refute his theory, because he didn't give us lesser beings a chance to! Augh!
Please understand, I have no ill feelings for a single person on this forum... maybe just ill feelings for posts :)
