: Ok, aside from the Homecomeing mission there is.
: A- the fact that he has been fighting for seventeen
: years, where as a solder from the Free Citys would
: probably not have been fighting that long. And anyone
: from the East would have been dead, or writen in a
: very different style.
So far so good...
: B- He seems to be an officer (he knows alot about
: importent operations, such as the stratagy for the
: battle for Madrical, that ordinary solders probably
: wouldn't be informed of), or at least someone with an
: informal sort of authority. Now I understand that
: security might not be the biggest consern for a
: mideval style army, but who would wanttake the trouble
: to tell the grunts exactly what the plan was?
Again good...
: C- Why would him being an officer point to him coming
: from the Provence? Well think about it. "When the
: Armys of the Provence were broken at Covenent, they
: scattered throughout the North; taking their arms with
: them" and their combat exsperiance. A veteran who
: had faced rotting corps men and iron giants (yes I
: know they aren't iron) would make a better officer
: than some green land lord who joined up because of
: political reasons. He would also be more likely to
: survive for ten more years as well.
Getting more and more likely (no insult but your spelling is a trifle weak)
: D (alittle more far out, but I include it anyway)- He
: doesn't seem all that concerned about getting home,
: almost like it was already destroyed. Nor does he get
: too worked up about the fall of Madrical (although it
: could have been shock) and the imminant destruction of
: what was left of civilization. Kind of hard to do that
: after you've already seen your own citys go up in
: smoke, and had to fight the reanimated bodys of your
: neibors and friends don't you guys think? (By the way,
: this is one of the reasons the ending of Myth was so
: powerful in my opinion. The writer died, despite every
: thing he had survived and suffered through and not
: even his Journal would make it back to tell his
: story....:Sniff:)
Yes! WE HAVE IT!
: That's it for now. Maybe I'll reinstall ol' TFL and look
: for some more that I might have forgoten in the year
: or so since I've played.
: See you guys around the curve!
: Drunken Ghol
So what is the Journal in the Baron's keep?
It was writen by a man who served in the Legion during the Great War (TFL).
Myth TFL is not the greatest game (for gameplay) I have ever played... but the story is probably better then anything else I have ever played and is very near if not better then anything I have ever read too. (Seraph has read LotR yes)
It is so sad though.
The Legion sacrifices itself so that the Light can live...

Seraph Who Cries at Sad Stories
P.S. DG you seem to have pretty well proven that he is from the Province, now someone think of a counter theory. We need some kind of debate.
