So far, it is not hard to understand at all. I've burned through the first three books, and haven't had to look back more than three or four times in all. And that's just because it's such a page-turner, I'm afraid that if I stop to reread something before the close of a chapter, the book will keep going without me :)

You shouldn't have trouble, it's self explanatory at least up to the point I've read. A friend tells me it gets more complicated in later novels, but nothing to f33r.
