I quote the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary: "Demon: A being of nature intermediate between that of gods and men; and inferior deity, spirit (including the souls of deceased persons). Often written daemon for distinction. b. Sometimes, an attendant spirit; a genius 2. An evil spirit b. gen. A malignant being of superhuman nature ; a devil"
Of all these definitions, only 2b part 1 sounds even vaguely Mrykrydian. Myrkrydia aren't affected by pentagrams, as one would expect if they were demons, they bleed just like anybody else, and they require food to live, all of which suggest that they are mortal, if monstrous, rather than semi-divine.
And Packmages are anything but normal Myrkrydia.
